Health and Social Services

ENSYNC is committed to improving the lives of socially disadvantaged at-risk youth, teens and adults in our local community and abroad. Our Health & Social Services Division has worked with local non-profits, colleges/universities and government-based agencies to educate the community on abuse, intimate partner violence, HIV/AIDS and sexual assault. Our goal in providing these services has been to prevent potential dangers to the health and safety of those who are most vulnerable to being exposed to abuse and HIV/AIDS.

ENSYNC has been a recipient of federal funding from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Office on Women’s Health (OWH).  Our company co-produced the first National Conferences on HIV and Violence Against Women which was held in Atlanta, Georgia. The conference was well attended and received by its intended audience and was described as a “premiere event” by the Office of Women’s Health.

ENSYNC also has experience providing training and technical assistance to domestic violence organizations and AIDS Service Organizations (ASO) on the intersection of intimate partner violence and HIV/AIDS. We have conducted projects focused on educating and mentoring girls at risk for perpetrating violent acts or exhibiting juvenile delinquent behaviors in order to reduce their risk of contracting and/or transmitting sexually transmitted diseases with a primary focus on HIV/AIDS.
